How about these cute Bag In A Box Handbag class projects I made. A number of my craft card ladies had fun making these last night at my monthly card class – so they are ideal for beginners and more experienced crafters alike.
I made two versions, one in Real Red and the other on the video in Pacific Point. The scrapbook paper I used is Back to Black from Stampin’ Up! Such a lovely monochromatic stack.
There is room inside for 3 -4 note cards inside measuring 4 x 4 inches.
The base piece of DSP is 12 inches x 3 1/2 inches and the strips for the top and bottom of the handbag is 1/2 inch x 12 inches.
The base box is scored at 1/2 inch on all four sides of a piece of card stock measuring 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches.
I hope you have fun making these cute little handbags, please do post pictures to my facebook page
Here is the video tutorial. I have been trying out a new camera angle, so please do let me know if this is easy to follow and see.
If you would like to purchase any of the supplies/stamps used in the video please click on the pictures below.
I am so pleased that the spring like days are back, the sun is shining in the garden and we can look forward to long summer days, BBQs and probably a bit of rain too!
Hope you have fun making these little handbags, if you do make some please let m know how you got on with a comment on here, or perhaps you could upload a picture to my facebook page?
I have a couple of fun weekends ahead of me, and hope you are enjoying your April.
